A new offering by Jimmy Bidaurreta

A new offering by Jimmy Bidaurreta

Jimmy Bidaurreta presents the third album by Dantza Baltza, a sub-label of Gaztelupeko Hotsak directed by Bidaurreta himself and aimed at reviving the popular music of recent decades and offering new, more daring and dance-oriented versions, adapted to the times in which we live. After having recovered compositions by Luis Mariano, Jesus Guridi, Quincy Jones, Tito Puente and Monty Norman in previous albums, in this new 10 inch vinyl Bidaurreta surprises us once more with a strange and highly original mix of markedly pop compositions. As before, Txarly Brown is the man responsible for the record’s beautiful design, this time in green 10” vinyl.

Travellin´Brothers Big Band

Travellin´Brothers Big Band

In addition to the quality of their music, one of the main characteristics of this veteran blues band from Vizcaya is the determination with which they work and the tireless energy they show in their constant appearances in both large-scale blues festivals and small venues. However, the sextet is constantly on the lookout for new challenges. Thus, the idea arose of creating a Big Band and recording a live album. Great music, an excellent production and high image quality is what is on offer in their recently-published CD and double DVD.  Captured Live in Leioa.
