Tino Gonzales & Los Reyes del KO
Under the name of Funky Tortillas, and while we wait for their new work, here we have a CD with new, original themes by musicians who will become well-known by blues fans. With the extraordinary collaboration of Los Reyes del KO, called by some, the European Junior Wells and Buddy Guy – meaning Marcos Coll on the harmonica and Adrián Costa, voice and guitar – accompanied by, on the one hand, an electric band and on the other, by Tino González, the Chicano bluesman, known most recently for his albums on the French label, Dixiefrog. A total of ten tracks where the listener can hear variations of the most traditional R&B with a Latin groove. Another sign that the blues has no geographic or cultural limitations. CD distributed in Europe
A mixture of soul, jazz, hip hop and electronic music in the first CD of POETIC BABIES
in 2003, Mikel Andonegi started developing his most important project, Poetic Babies, with the crucial help of John Roggie. The newly published Record Adding Strangeness to your sense of beauty since 1998 is a mixture of traditions and different genres of music heard along the way as an artist. In the future, Mikel Andonegi has a strong intention to continue on both fronts: a jazz pianist as well as with musical mix of “Poetic Babies” – stitching together the sounds and words of soul, hip-hop, jazz and techno. It’s all clear in this CD.
Barrence Whitfield y Petti & The Bloodyhotsaks
Both Petti and Barrence Whitfield are used to working this way, and they both know how to work well with other musicians. The singer from Navarra has published records with Anari, Txuma Murugarren and Rafa Rueda. Barrence Whitfield, a legend of rock&roll, blues, funk and soul has been a member of The Savages for years and has shared concert stages with Richard Thompson, Solomon Burke, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal and many others. He is currently a member of the Hi-Risers, a tribute band to Bo Diddley. In spite of being very different, Petti and Whitfield are both extremely good singers with energy and sensibility, and the idea of putting their sounds on one record was a success.

JIMMI ARRABIT TRIO: the world of jazz and traditional melodies
The experiment and versatile drummer Jimmy Arrabit (Itoiz, King Mafrundi, Sustrai ...) is the soul of the trio. The arrangements and the
progressions that have been created to compose the pieces of his debut
album are designed from the perspective of the drummer, but there is no a
dictatorship of the battery. The temporary space is well balanced for
the three instruments, and Fred Feuga's piano and Xabi Hayet's bass dance perfectly to the sound of the rhythm of Arrabit.

Estramp JAÇ: folk with jazz rythm from Catalunya
Folka eta jazza besarkatzen ditu Marcel Casellas musikari eta kontrabaxu jotzaileak gidaturiko Estramp Jaç seikoteak. Musika herrikoiaren eta inprobisazio askeagoen arteko mugak lausoturik geratzen dira diskoa osatzen duten 7 piezatan. Ez da mugak ezabatzea taldearen helburua, bi lurraldeen arteko bidegurutze izatea baino. Kataluniako musika tradizioan du oinarria seikoaren musika arkitekturak. Baina musika konposaketa herrikoien ohiko egitura itxietako giltzarrapoa zabaldu eta eremu zabalagoetara hegan egiten dute doinuek, jazz egitura askeagoen bidez. Del Pirineu a l´Atles da horren adibide gustagarria. Diskoa hemen salgai
