The texts that accompany the music has always had importance in Gaztelupe. Thats the way that different montages and shows related to the literature has appeared. Here you can find some of them.
Dana lanbrotute Ikustot (I see everything cloudy) is a montage which revolves around the twenty years of captivity of the basque prisioner, Mitxel Sarasketa. On the pretext of a poem from Joseba Sarrionandia, it combines images, theatre, poetry and music.
In Apoaren edertasuna (The beauty of the toad) we could find an unpublished story from the writer Koldo Izagirre, with songs of the musician Joseba Tapia.
Ibiltarixanak (Great walker's). It's a selection of basque poetry of the 20th century, in charge of the writers Iņigo Aranbarri and Jose Luis Otamendi, together with poems made songs in charge of the musicians of the band Bide Ertzean. All that on projections made by the group from Elorrio IKB.
Tribuaren hitz galduak: (The tribe's lost words). It's been probably long time since the singer Mikel Markez and the writer Pako Aristi joined together. During 1998 and 1999, they went around the Basque country with the show Tribuaren Hitz Galduak, showing singers and writers, words and sounds, songs and stories. During their visit to different towns, they joined more collaborators in their performances, as for example: Patziku Perurena, Igor Elortza, Benito Lertxundi eta Patxi Ezkiaga.
The Bar Puerto has his origin in a show of the same name. This show, combined literatura and music, inserting a recording with the real testimonies of some friends. In autumn of the 2001, the musicians Mikel Urdangarin and Bingen Mendizabal left that port and they began a new trip. They took as foundation Kirmen Uriben´s words and they did a innovative musical reading.
