The most complete CD from Bide Ertzean is out. It is the outcome of working away without pretensions on many songs and more ideas. The best dozen are on the album. They are tracks that make you sing along. Thanks to the participation of Duncan Dhu’s Joserra Senperena (acoustic piano and Hammond organ), the group has made inroads in to new terrirory. Rock numbers with a lot of beat are prominent but, to a certain extent, Bide Ertzean has gone back to its most melodic of roots. It is a well-worked pop with delicate arrangements but, at the same time, vigorous and raw. The recordings took place at Garate studios in Andoain and, once again, Kaki Arkarazo’s mastery is evident in the technical production.
